Mercury Must be in Retrograde!!!!
I've always been interested in astrology but this is getting a little freaky. A friend at work introduced me to legitimate astrology a few years ago. The biggest thing I've learned is machines hate it when when "Mercury is in retrograde". It's Murphy's Law for all things with moving parts. Well, since Dave and I were on vacation I think it's be in retrograde. The mower was fine until we started using it to pull a lawn cart to move dirt for our new patio. Then the chipper wouldn't start. Then the mower got worse. You get the idea. Today we were really cooling on digging out for the patio. The mower still had issues but we were getting by. All of a sudden, one of the cart tires springs a leak and goes pancake flat. So we decide to call it quits and cool off. I just thought you should all know we are DEFINITELY in retrograde.
Meet the Foster Dog
Hi folks. Yes you read the title correctly. We are currently up to 4 dogs. Daisy is a red bloodhound, just like our very old Sam. Unfortunately she's pretty skinny and not very sure about the puppy. Other than that, she's an awesome girl. She's definitely very attached to Dave. Check the photo stream to the right of this post.

Anyway, a friend sent me this blog because there was posts about Croatia. I think I've found a new blog to follow. Maybe you'll like it too. http://www.designspongeonline.com

Fourth of July Festivities
Hey gang. I know you are all wondering what I've been doing with myself this summer since I don't seem to be working out or blogging much. Well truth be told, I'm busy but not very productive. Lots going on with just trying to keep the house up, going to the kid's baseball games, and the husband's races.
I was lucky enough to hang out with a few of my favorite photographers on Saturday, July 4 for the grand parade downtown. It was awesome. And it didn't even rain as hard as last year - until I got back in my car AFTER the parade. Woot!
Just wanted to send you a note to let you know that our pictures are online from the event. Visit http://www.bloomingtononline.net/ to see the pics taken of the crowd by my buddies Lisa Walker, Mike Trace, Dale Staton, and myself.

Things that I love
In no particular order:
*No humidity days - the really great ones don't get about 75
*Watching my family and/or friends participate in sports
*Rain when I'm about to go to sleep
*Thunderstorms when it's light outside (so I can watch them)
*Dogs - especially mine
*That post-workout feeling of utter calmness
*Laughing
*Making someone's day
*Taking pictures and finding out that one turned out great
*The entire month of July - why? THE TOUR DE FRANCE!!!!!!!
